Our site helps address gaps in traditional background searches by bringing greater visibility to publicly documented safety-related records that may otherwise be fragmented, difficult to access, or overlooked.
Our purpose is not to determine guilt or innocence, but to provide publicly obtainable information so users can conduct their own research and make informed decisions.
We use user-submitted public records only and do not independently scrape or pull records from government databases or third-party systems. Individuals who are the subject of a record may also submit publicly obtainable documentation to provide additional context. Submissions are subject to review.

Know More For You was founded by survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault who experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to navigate the justice system, court processes and scattered public records. We saw how important information can be difficult to find, understand and access.
Our goal is simple: give people access to information so they can make choices with greater clarity about their safety, relationships and communities.
We believe publicly documented records can provide valuable context. By bringing information that may be scattered or difficult to find into one accessible place, we help people to understand what is publicly documented.

We want to help people ask better questions, make safer choices, recognize patterns and create a future where knowledge can lead to prevention.
